    THE EPSOM PHYSIO CLINIC

     The Epsom Physio Clinic, although changing its name, has been servicing the Epsom community at large for 30 years now.

     

     We are a dynamic team of physiotherapists comprising of myself: Thirona Naicker, Jonathon Moyle. Together we hold many years of experience. 

    ​

    We offer high quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment. Our aim outlined in our mission statement is to provide treatment that empowers and assists in restoring our clients to their optimal well-being: We are skilled in manual therapy and rehabilitation therapy which forms the basis of our physiotherapy treatment. We aim to work together with you to get you on track to reaching your optimal well- being.

    Thirona Naicker

     Thirona graduated in 2008 at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Thirona enjoys the outdoors, hiking and is an avid squash player. Thirona’s history in sports physiotherapy began with physiotherapy on and off the rugby field. She now finds joy in treating musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions to get patients back on track. She also has been trained in treatment of headaches. Thirona believes in a combined hand’s on and rehabilitation approach to achieving your goals.

    Jonathon Moyle

    Physio | BScPT (Canada) Dip Phys

    Jonathon Moyle Physio specializing in Sports rehabilitation Graduated university of Alberta in 1993 with a B.Sc Physical Therapy and completed a Dip Physiotherapy in Auckland. Jonathon is a former track and field athlete that competed for NZ for 10 years attending the Commonwealth games and world champs. He was the NZ champion numerous times in the long jump and competed for NZ in the sprint events. He also competed for NZ in the Bobsled world cup. After retiring from his own sports Jonathon focused his efforts on helping other sportsmen and women achieve their goals both as a Physio and Coach.

    Jonathon has been the head Physiotherapist for The Warriors and Kiwi league teams, Blues, Mitsubishi and NTT rugby and NZ athletics. As a coach, he has been the national jumps coach for NZ and individually coached athletes to the Olympics and many others to national and international titles. After returning from contract in Japan Jonathon's focus now lies on helping more kiwis achieve their dreams.

    Sports Massages

    Our experienced physiotherapists provide sport massages to help you relax,

    reduce fatigue, encourage blood and lymph flow throughout the body. Massages are beneficial to both the serious sporting competitor and those people who just need some kinks worked out. Our physiotherapist are experienced in targeting the tender/ tighter areas in your body. Call us to find a time that suits your schedule.

    Power plate and gym programmes 

    Power plate offers the opportunity to do acceleration training.

    Acceleration training is the ability to use vibration to produce the

    same result as adding weights to your workout. The benefits to the power plate

    are increase in muscular strength, flexibility, power, bone density, circulation

    and recovery. We offer 6 week power plate program that includes an

    assessment by the physiotherapist and a follow -up re-assessment

    to ensure you are working to your full capacity.
